From Portland: Take Hwy 26 to Hwy 6 to Tillamook and stay in the left lane, following the signs for "Hebo, Newport, 101 South." Turn left on Main Street (101 South) and travel 10.9 miles to the "Sandlake, Cape Kiwanda, Pacific City" sign. Turn right and go 4 miles. Turn left at the stop sign, continue through Sand Lake and Terra Del Mar, then turn left at the intersection following the TT directional sign.

From Salem: Take Hwy 22 to Valley Junction, where Hwys 18 and 22 join. Take Hwy 18 to Hwy 101. Go north through Neskowin and Oretown. Turn left, following signs to Pacific City. Take this road 2.6 miles to a 4-way stop. Turn left and go over the bridge. Turn right and go 2.5 miles to the 4-way stop. Turn right, go 300 feet to the preserve entrance on the right.

Preserve Description

The Oregon coastline is the setting of the 105-acre Pacific City preserve, which sits amid towering spruce trees overlooking the ocean. The beach and Cape Kiwanda sand dunes are within walking distance. Here, beachcombing, hiking, sight-seeing, fishing as well as clamming and crabbing abound. Scenic drives take you past Cape Meares Lighthouse, the Dory Fleet and Tillamook, a major recreation area.

Your personal site is waiting! Select from Cable, Sewer, 50 amp and/or Ocean View sites. New picnic table & privacy chain across the campsite. Personalize your campsite and/or add a storage shed. No need to haul your RV. One or three year contracts available. Contact Ginny or Laura at the preserve at 503.965.6200.

STORAGE: Dry - $3/day, $50/month, $300/bi-annual, $550/annual; sewer sites available November-April, $145/month, $770 seasonal rate.

SUPERHOST (4+ sites/rentals): Reunions, anniversaries, birthdays, retreats, church groups, etc. Limited sites available. Call 503.965.6200 for reservations.

SHIPMATES STORE: Stocked with your basic needs -- campfire wood, propane, snacks, gifts, specialty wines, Tillamook hand-dipped ice cream, video/DVD rentals, and more.

RENTALS: Platinum members - get 50% off rental rates when you reserve 5 or greater consecutive nights year-round. We are currently in the process of upgrading TV/VCR combos to TV/DVD combos.
