From Seattle: From I-5 take Hwy 34 (just south of Albany). Go west on Hwy 34, then take Hwy 20 to Newport. Proceed 5 miles south of the Newport Bridge on Hwy 101. (Watch for official turn lane for 123rd St.) Turn left at 123rd Street. The entrance to the preserve is on the right.

Preserve Description
Beach-goers will revel in the location of this preserve: just 150 yards from the Pacific Ocean. Beachcombing, salt-water swimming, scuba diving, surfing, whale watching and fishing are all within minutes of the facility and are popular activities for visitors. On rainy days, preserve visitors can enjoy the on-site indoor swimming pool and spa or visit the local Oregon Coast Aquarium. Land lovers take heart! Perhaps you'd enjoy playing pool, tennis, horeshoes, or playing a round of golf at a local course, trying your luck at the Chinook Winds Casino or visiting the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. This preserve has it all!
