From Houston: Take I-10 west just past Columbus to exit 695, go right on Texas 71 for 4 miles to FM 1890, turn left and go 1 mile to the preserve entrance on the left.

From San Antonio: Take I-10 east just past Columbus to Exit 696. Go left on Business 71 through Columbus until Business 71 intersects with Hwy 71 (3.5 miles NW of town). Turn right and head west 1 mile on Hwy 71 to FM 1890. Turn left and proceed 1 mile to preserve entrance on the left.

From Austin: Take Hwy 71 east to FM 1890. (If you reach Business Hwy 71/Columbus Exit, you've gone too far.) Turn right on FM 1890 and proceed 1 mile to the preserve entrance on the left.
