From the south via I-35: Go north to Gainesville. At Gainesville, go east on Hwy 82, about 15 miles to the Hwy 377 exit at Whitesboro. Go north on 377 for 11.5 miles to Verizon Substation (on your left). Turn right (east) on Cedar Mills Marina Road, then keep left at fork in the road. Go straight 1 mile to entrance. Do not veer left at Thousand Trails sign.

From the north via I-35: Proceed south to the Hwy 70 exit 3 miles south of Ardmore. Drive east on Hwy 70 to Madill. Go through Madill to Hwy 99. Go south on Hwy 99 over the Willis Bridge. On the Texas side of the bridge, Hwy 99 becomes Hwy 377. Go 3 miles to the Verizon Substation (on your right). Turn left (east) on Cedar Mills Marina Road, then keep left at fork in the road. Go straight 1 mile to entrance. Do not veer left at Thousand Trails sign.

From the south via U.S. 75: Proceed north to Sherman. At Sherman, follow signs to Hwy 82. Go west on Hwy 82 for about 19 miles to Hwy 377 exit at Whitesboro. Go north on Hwy 377 for 11.5 miles to the Verizon Substation. Turn right (east) on Cedar Mills Marina Road, then keep left at fork in the road. Go straight 1 mile to entrance. Do not veer left at Thousand Trails sign.

Preserve Description
This 300-acre campground lies on the beautiful shores of Lake Texoma (the "Striped Bass Capital of the World"), offering excellent water skiing, boating, hiking and swimming. The preserve has a boat ramp, fishing dock, lakefront beaches and much more.
