Theme Weekends 2009

April 10th to 12th – Easter Weekend – Stop by and have a bite to eat with the Easter Bunny, get your picture taken, and then hop off to the Easter Egg hunt.  Be sure to look for that special egg and win a great prize.

April 17th – 19th – Batter’s Up Weekend – Take Me Out to the Ballgame!!  Play BALL!! Scramble for some peanuts, play wiffle ball and make some neat themed crafts.

April 24th – 26th April Showers Bring – Let’s get some plants ready for our gardens.  Stop by the activities center to make a wind chime, and join us in making a new hiking trail.

May 1st – 3rd - May Flowers – We will be planting some flowers this weekend, making some stepping stones for your gardens and continuing work on our hiking trail.

May 8th – 10th - Momma Mia Weekend - Pamper Mom this weekend. Make sure she signs up for a manicure and stops by for tea and cookies. All kids come to the activities center and make a special gift for Mom.

May 15th – 17th – USO Weekend – Take this weekend to remember all of our servicemen. Write a letter to mail and help us to pack up some care packages to send to our troops.

May 23rd – 25th – Memorial Day Weekend – Bring your bikes, wagons, and trikes and decorate them for our parade.  Help us to make a large flag using everyone’s hand prints.  Enjoy a Memorial Day Parfait as you sit by the pool.

May 29th – 31st – Birds and Blooms Weekend – Let’s make our feathered friends comfortable this season. We will be building bird houses and bird feeders to hang in our trees. Make two and take one home. Bring your binoculars and bird books and help to identify our feathered friends in the area.

June 5th – 7th – Exercise Extravaganza – Get ready for the swim season!  Come and join us for some exercise!  Swim laps, do aerobics or take a walk on the trail.

June 12th – 14th – Camp Adventure Weekend – Come ready for adventure.  Bring your tent, sleeping bag and a good thirst for adventure.

June 19th – 21st – “Look What My Dad Can Do” – Join in the fun this Father’s Day.  Team up with your Dad to compete in some fun activities.  Don’t forget to stop by our activities center to make a special gift for Dad.  On Sunday take him to breakfast in the Wagon Wheel.

June 26th – 28th – Medieval Weekend – Do you have what it takes to become a knight? Play human checkers, try your luck at jousting on horseback (of course just pony sticks) and compete in our challenges!

July 3rd – 5th – Old Fashion 4th of July – Come and join us for some old fashioned fun!  Three legged races, wheelbarrow races, and watermelon seed spitting contest, just to name a few.  Bring your bikes, trikes, and wagons to decorate for our 4th of July parade!  Join us in the construction of our 30ft banana split! Pool Party Saturday night with DJ Midnight Rebel.

July 10th – 12 – Carnival Weekend – Games, food and fun for all!

July 17th – 19th – Fear Factor Weekend – Have no Fear?  Can you stomach anything?  Make your reservations for this weekend and participate in our obstacle courses and eating competititons. 

 

July 24th – 26th – Christmas in July Weekend – Celebrate Christmas a little early this year.  Make some Christmas presents, decorate your campsite and maybe do a little sledding.   Join us in the evening for some Christmas Caroling and hot chocolate. Demo for some good food for entertaining with Pampered Chef.

July 31st – Aug 2nd – Game Show Weekend – Join us for Deal or No Deal Circle M Style, Family Feud, and lots more.  Make sure to sign up ahead of time to participate.  We will be pulling names from our game jar to choose the families who will be competing.  Make sure to stop by the Trading Post to sign up.  Bring your families and be ready for some fun.

 

August 7th – 9th – Pet Lovers Weekend – This entire weekend is for our special friends.  From a pet look alike contest, to grooming to creating a healthy treat for your pet.  This weekend is for all ages to enjoy!

August 14th – 16th – Viva Las Vegas – Casinos, look alike contest for Elvis, Siegfried & Roy, Blue Man Group and Wayne Newton just to name a few.  In the evening join us for a Karaoke sing off.  Are you the best?  Let your camper friends decide. DJ Midnight Rebel Saturday night.

August 21st – 23rd – Lazy Days of Summer – Pool games, relay races and more.  Tired of the heat, come to the Activity Center for some cool crafts. Want to learn to make a scrapbook?  Stop by the activity center.   

August 28th – 30th – Survivor Weekend – Can you make a fire from sticks and stones?  A shelter from branches and leaves?  If you can, come show off your expertise. 

 

September 4th – 7th – Labor Day Weekend – End of Summer 2009.  Join us for our last Pool Party of the year.  DJ Midnight Rebel will be there to see the summer off.  Games, crafts, and activities for all.Don’t miss out on our annual Bow Wow Brown Bag Bingo on Sunday September 6th. 

October 23rd – 25th Frightful Frenzy Weekend – Halloween costume contests, Site decorating contests, hay rides, haunted trails and don’t forget our Haunted House.  Bigger and Better this year with some new surprises.
