6 – 8 Dog Days of Summer. Bring out your cutest pet for Costume Contest, Talent Show, Craft, and dance the night away to Wishful Thinking Band
13 – 14 Father’s Day Weekend. Craft, Doughnuts for Dad, Fishing Tourney and dance the night away with the Big E Mike Helms
16 – 20 Cub Scouts Uwharrie Districts Day Camp
20 – 22 School’s Out! Water Games, Craft, and dance or sing the night away with DJ Torie Boan
27 – 29 Weekend at the Races. Golf Cart Race, Bike Race, RC Race, and Canoe Race. Then come out and dance the night away with Vision’s Band.

July
4 – 6 July 4th Weekend. Bingo, DJ Torie Boan Pool Side, fireworks, craft, parade and come out and dance the night away with Wishful Thinking Band.
11 – 13 Christmas in July! Craft, Bingo, best Site decoration contest, and dance the night away with the Big E Mike Helms
July 14 – 18 Forest Lake Vacation Bible School
18 – 20 Fun – in – the – Sun Weekend. Sand Castle Building, water games, and dance or sing the night away with DJ Torie Boan
25 – 27 Scavenger Hunt Weekend

August
1 – 3 Murder Mystery Weekend! Solve our mock murder and dance the night away with Shamrocks in the Wind
8 – 10 Luau Weekend. Luau games, Luau meal, and dance the night away with the Big E Mike Helms
15 – 17 Back to School Bash. Craft, bingo and dance the night away with DJ Torie Boan
22 – 24 American Idol. Come out show off your singing talent with Karaoke.
29 – 31 Labor Day Weekend! Parade and dance the night away with the Wishful Thinking Band.

September
5 – 7 Grandparents Weekend. Bingo, craft, and Grandparents Social
12 – 14 Gospel Weekend
19 – 21 Autumn Festival! Bingo, Craft, and Karaoke
26 – 28 Camper’s Night Out! Come by the fire pit and enjoy a marshmallow roast.

October
3 – 5 Soup Day Weekend. Bring your favorite pot of Soup to share.
10- 12 Saturday Night at the Movies. Come out and enjoy a movie under the stars.
17 – 19 Sweet Endings Weekend
24 – 26 Halloween Weekend/Lexington Barbecue Festival. Come out and enjoy Trick or treating, Pet Costume Contest, Children’s Costume, Adult Costume Contest, Site Judging and then dance the night away with the sounds of the Wishful Thinking Band.

November
1 – 2 Chili Cook-off. Bring your favorite pot of Chili to share and let’s see whose pot is the best.
7 – 9 Veteran’s Day Weekend
14 – 16 Game Night. Come out and play games. Pegs and Jokers, Spades, etc.
21 – 23 Holiday Craft Bazaar. It’s almost Christmas. Come out and set up your favorite crafts to sell.
27 – 30 Thanksgiving Weekend. Come out and celebrate Thanksgiving with us. We will supply the Turkey and the Ham. Bring a Covered Dish.

December
5 – 7 Game Night at the Lodge.
12 – 14 Deck the Halls. Come out and help us decorate for Christmas. Bring a snack & food to share.
19 – 21 Christmas Social. Come out and bring a snack food and celebrate with us.
26 – 28 Soup Day.

New Year’s Eve is December 31, 2008. Come out rent a cabin or stay in your RV and Celebrate the New Year by bringing a snack food down the Adult Lodge.
