THEME WEEKENDS 2009
April 10 – 12 Opening/Easter Weekend
Hooray for Easter, hooray for the opening weekend of the 2009 season!! There’ll be plenty of activities including egg coloring, an egg hunt and a ham pot luck dinner Saturday evening. Join us as we open the camping year at Gettysburg Farm.

May 8 – 10 Mother’s Day Weekend
Mom you’re the best! Enjoy mother/child crafts and activities. Also look for Mother’s Day specials in our country store. All moms are invited to a free Sunday morning breakfast.
May 22 – 25 Memorial Day Weekend
Kick off the summer at the Farm. There will be lots of baby animals to visit at our barnyard petting zoo. Nightly entertainment both Saturday and Sunday evenings, pony rides, hayrides and more. Be the first to enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool. Make your reservations early, as this is the busiest camping weekend of the season!
June 5 – 7 Street Rod Weekend 
Nearby York Fairgrounds hosts one of the largest gatherings of “street rods” in the entire country. Over 4000 vintage machines will be cruzn’ the area. This is a must event for all you car nuts.
July 3 – 5 July 4th Celebration
Let’s celebrate the red, white and blue! Have a splashing good time at our July 4th pool party with a DJ.On Saturday evening country music fans will be swinging in the Rec Hall. Kids don’t forget the bike parade on the 4th.

July 17 – 19 Christmas in July
Always a fun time as we celebrate Christmas on the Farm. We’ll have Christmas crafts, cookie baking and maybe even a visit from the “big guy”. Don’t forget to decorate your campsite as we’ll be judging for the most festive campsite.
July 24 – 26 RV Rally / Flea Market Weekend
One of the best weekends of the summer as we feature live music next to the pool on Saturday afternoon. We’ll have a “moon bounce”, carnival games, cotton candy and much more. This weekend we’ll be featuring our first pig roast of the season with scrumptious pork sandwiches, baked potatoes, and homemade baked beans. Don’t forget to bring your treasures for the flea market!

August 21 – 23 Hawaiian Luau Weekend
The Farm goes Hawaiian this weekend! We’ll be making leis and doing the limbo. Hey, don’t forget to join us for the big hula hoop contest. Saturday evening will feature a pig roast potluck dinner. Bring your favorite side dish to be shared with your friends.
September 4 – 7 Labor Day Weekend
How fast the summer goes by. Celebrate with us as we say goodbye to the summer. There’ll be hayrides, pony rides and live entertainment both Saturday and Sunday evenings.
October 9 – 12 Columbus Day Weekend
Come to the Farm and enjoy this long fall weekend. The famous Apple Harvest Festival at South Mountain Fairgrounds is always a crowd pleaser. Saturday evening will be our last pig roast potluck dinner of the season followed by a live country band. Don’t miss out!
October 23 – 25 Halloween / Closing Weekend
The last camping weekend is one of the very best as we celebrate Halloween. Ghosts and goblins will be trick or treating, pumpkins will be carved and there will be a huge kids costume party and more. Don’t forget your decorations as we’ll be judging for the spookiest campsite!
