THEME WEEKENDS 2008
May 23 – 26 Memorial Day Weekend
Here it is the first big camping weekend of the season. Of course the pool will be open, there’ll be a live band Saturday evening and a DJ dance Sunday evening and don’t forget all the baby farm animals at our barnyard petting zoo. Gettysburg Farm will be hopping this weekend!
June 6 – 8 Street Rod Weekend
The York Fairgrounds ( just 10 miles away) will be hosting one of the largest street rod shows in the country. Our 4000 classic rods will be cruising the area. If you’re a car enthusiast be sure to mark your calendar for this event.
June 20 – 22 Kick Off the Summer Weekend
We’ll be having a hot time at the Farm now that summer is in full swing. Enjoy a refreshing swim, a challenging mini golf game or just kick back and relax. Green grass, beautiful flowers, lots of farm animals and friends…that’s what Gettysburg Farm is about.

July 11 -13 Christmas in July
A camper’s favorite, as we celebrate Santa’s big day. Kids take a ride on Santa’s “reinpony” JR or maybe climb aboard big Rosie (our draft horse). We’ll be baking cookies, making Christmas cards, stringing popcorn and much more. Don’t forget to decorate your site for our annual contest.
July 25 – 27 Carnival / Flea Market Weekend
Enjoy carnival games, a moon bounce and lots of food. Set up your treasures at the flea market by the pool on Saturday. Pig out at the first pig roast of the season complete with homemade baked beans and our farm grown baked potatoes. Enjoy the sounds of a live band playing outside Saturday afternoon.

August 15 – 17 Luau Weekend
Enjoy a tropical getaway at the Farm. Activities this weekend will include lei making, a hula contest and a Saturday evening dance. The feature event will be our pig roast potluck dinner, so campers bring your favorite dish to be shared with your friends.
August 29 – September 1 Labor day Weekend
The final big bash of the summer is here. Enjoy a final dip in the pool, tye dyeing t-shirts, hayrides, pony rides and more. There will be live entertainment both Saturday and Sunday evenings.
October 10 – 13 Columbus Day Weekend
Lots to do in the fall both here and nearby. Saturday evening will feature the last pig roast potluck dinner of the season. You’ll want to visit nearby South Mountain Fairgrounds for its spectacular Apple Harvest Festival. This event which runs the first two weekends in October is a huge attraction.
October 24 – 26 Halloween Weekend
Our closing weekend is also one of the best. There’ll be pumpkin carving and a kids costume party followed by trick or treating. If you dare our haunted barn will be scaring you Saturday evening. Don’t miss this one, its one spooktacular weekend!
