May 23-25: Memorial Day Weekend
Flee the doldrums of the city and kick off summer with a fishing contest, new playground equipment, swimming pool games, barbecue dinner, craft show and outdoor music under the stars.

May 30–June 1: Wilderness Awareness
Hike the old Saw Mill Trail, go on a wilderness scavenger hunt, design your best for the poster contest, and join us for a bonfire with free s’mores. Enjoy a fun full weekend
June 6-8: Wacky World of Sports
Basketball and shuffleboard tournaments, pool volleyball and tire football contest. We’ll finish off with a toasty bonfire and s’mores.

June 13-15: Dad’s Wild West
Dads vs. kids in a Wild West parade, best-dressed western contest, squirt gun contest, bocce ball and a wild time singing at karaoke.
June 20–22: Mardi Gras Weekend
Dress up for the Mardi Gras parade, make a mask and decorate your bike, search for hidden doubloons and join Chef George for a real Cajun dinner and a jambalaya cooking class.
June 27-29: Casino Night
Come down for fun games and prizes (all proceeds go to Christmas for Kids). Enjoy our famous ice cream social, candy bar bingo and our famous tri-tip dinner.
July 4: Fourth of July Weekend
Be a part of the grand parade in the town of Idyllwild, or just come and enjoy this
outstanding community event. Come back to the park for tasty hot dogs and an ice cream social. Join in the campfire singalong.
July 4–6: Happy Birthday, America!
Join us for a long week full of fun and adventure. Parade in the park, hayrides, swimming pool games, chili cookoff, watermelon-eating contest. Get out for family nature hikes.
July 11-13: Carnival Weekend
Test your skill at fun games for prizes. The best tasting hot dogs on the mountain will be here with karaoke fun for everyone.
July 18-20: Bluegrass Weekend
Band scrambles, with lots of jams going ‘till the wee hours. Bring your fiddle and spoons and join the fun. Music workshops and Sunday gospel jam. Don’t miss this favorite event!

July 25-27: Christmas in July
Santa will be joining our efforts to make a difference for kids on the mountain at our Christmas for Children auction (all proceeds go to Christmas for Kids). Decorate Christ-mas cookies and enjoy karaoke free s’mores by the fire Friday night. Also this weekend, nature hike at 9:00 am, Candy Bar Bingo and Horseback riding.
August 1-3: Blast to the Past
Groove back to the 50s and 60s. We’ll do the Hula-Hoop, chicken dance and limbo. Wear your best digs and enjoy that famous tri-tip dinner.

August 8-10: Civil War Weekend
Participants will demonstrate what life was like during Abe Lincoln’s time. Hit the trail with horseback rides on the beautiful state park trail, then enjoy entertainment in the cool summer-evening atmosphere of the outdoor amphitheater.

August 15-17: Mexican Fiesta
Swing down for our best salsa contest. There’ll be a kids’ piñata and a delicious Mexican dinner. Come learn to play Mexican dominoes.

August 22-24: Hawaiian Luau
Come check out a fabulous Hawaiian party at the pool. Shake your hips to Hawaiian music, enjoy a luau feast and join the Hula-Hoop, limbo and watermelon eating contests for all ages. Enjoy a luau pork dinner with karaoke on Friday night.
August 29-31: Labor Day Weekend
Bring your furry friends up for the fifth annual dog show, which includes a dog bone scavenger hunt for you and your dog. Wisdom Tree returns—enjoy the great music and stories. Craft show, hot dog feast, with games and prizes for all ages.
