MARCH

Scrappers Weekend March 27th-29th All day scrap. Bring all your Scrapbooking supplies and scrap away in the Beachcomber.

APRIL

Peter’s Cotton Bunny Trail Easter April 10th-12th We are having our annual Easter Egg Hunt along with a Bunny Hunt, Jelly Bean Count, and our Potluck Easter Dinner.

April Showers Bring May Flowers April 24th-26th Come enjoy Nature with us . We will go on a nature walk, do arts & Crafts and have a bonfire.

 

MAY

We are Family May 1st-3rd It is time to spend time with your family. The school year is almost over and everyone will be doing their own thing. So come on over for some  family activities. Such as: Family movie, arts & crafts, dizzy bat races, and Karaoke.

It’s all About Mom May 8th-10th All right ladies, leave your husbands and kids back at your sites and come to the Beachcomber for an all day Scrap, at night Dj Sonja will be playing your favorite tunes. Then on Sunday kids serve mothers their Breakfast, and afterwards take a trip to the AC Outlets.

Spring Cleaning Weekend May 15th -17th It is time to get things ready for the summer season. Help clean up the beach, put chairs and boats out, clean up the golf course, and just get everything ready for the summer season. Then on Saturday night we will have a BBQ Pot Luck Dinner for all of the helper ($).

Wet-N-Wild Memorial Day Weekend May 22nd-25th Speed slide contest, grease the pig, balloon toss, and swimming relays. Lots of things to keep us very wet and busy. Then on Monday at 12:00pm we will have a moment of silence at the flag for our memorial Ceremony.

Let’s Get into Shape Weekend May 29th-31st We all want to look good for the summer, so let’s start to exercise. We will go for a walk, swim laps in the pool, and do aerobics in the beachcomber all to get in to that bathing suit.

JUNE

Beach Bum Weekend June 5th–7th It is time to start on our tans. Come and lay out on our beach or if you don’t want to sit around, join in some of our outdoor activities; such as softball game, mini golf or have fun throwing a football around.

Blast from the Past June 12th-14th Let’s relive the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. We will have tie-dying, name that tune, root beer float social, and best dress disco goers.

Father’s Day Weekend June 19th–21st Come on our annual deep sea fishing trip, later that day join in on our father and child horseshoes tournament. Then on Sunday make your fathers a gift for arts & crafts.

School‘s Out Weekend June 26th-28th Kids it is time to sleep in. When you awake hang out with your friends and play jail break, volleyball, or join in on our softball game.

 

JULY

4th of July Weekend July 3rd–5th Join us this weekend to remember our independence. We are having our annual Independence Day Parade. Dress up and decorate your bikes, wagons, or whatever you want. We also are going to have the most patriotic animal contest.We will have a list of the towns and times for the fire works.

Jamaican me Crazy July 10th–12th Lay back and enjoy the summer while basking in the sun. This weekend it’s all about the islands. So come on over and listen to some island tunes from DJ Sonja.

Extreme Sports July 17th-19th Come play Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Soccer, and Softball. You name it we will play it.

The Great out doors weekend July 24th - 26th  
Everyone get up off your bun and get outside. We will have a nature walk, pool party, softball game, and DJ Sonja will spin some tunes for us. So come on out and enjoy the great outdoors.

AUGUST

Music fest July 31st -Augest 2nd
Let us spend the weekend listing to music. We will start off the weekend off on Friday night with Karaoke. Saturday we will play musical hula hoops, have a poolparty,and a band that night.

Crazy Camper Weekend August 7th– 9th We will have dizzy bat races, 3 legged, sack and Relays races, so come on and join in on the activities and show us how crazy you are.

Kumma Wanna Funna Luau Weekend August 14th–16th It’s that time again. So put on your grass skirts, and coconut shells and come on down for our annual Hawaiian Luau. We will be roasting a pig and also we will have Tommy Dino and the Royal; Hawaiians Dancer. 

You Might Be Redneck If ...August 21st-23rd It is our second annual Redneck Weekend. We will have watermelon-seed spitting contest, horseshoes, non-alcoholic beer chugging contest, and country music with DJ Sonja.

NFL Frenzy Weekend August 28th-30th Here a football, there a football everywhere a football. We will play touch football, Flag football, and let’s see who can punt, pass, and kick the furthest. Also wear your team colors for the biggest fan contest.

SEPTEMBER

Labor Day Weekend September 4th-6th Last chance to have fun for the summer, so come to Lake & Shore for one last hurrah. Join in on our speed slide contest, hay ride, and a BBQ pot luck dinner. We supply the BBQ and you supply the side dishes enough for your group and 10 other people. Enjoy your last pool party of the summer.

Cancer Walk / Halloween Committee September 11th-13th It is our 2nd annual Walk for Hope. During the walk we will have drinks, food, and DJ Sonja will be playing some tunes. There will be a small donation fee to join in on the walk. All proceeds go to The American Cancer Society. Later after the walk we will have a Halloween Meeting for those who are on the Construction crew.

Belated Grandparents Weekend September 18th-20th We have one for moms, we have one for dads. It is only right that we have one for Grandparents. So make then a craft and serve them some Breakfast just like we do for everyone else.

Camp fire Weekend September 25th-27th This weekend we will go on a nature walk and look for marshmallows sticks and have a bonfire and tell Scary stories.

OCTOBER

Fall Festival Weekend October 2nd–4th Hay ride, fall arts & Crafts, a bonfire and a hotdog roast.

Octoberfest Weekend October 9th-11th Take a hay ride down to the ball field and get your own pumpkins. Also we are having karaoke on Friday night and on Saturday we have DJ Sonja.

Little Camp of Horrors October 16th -18th It is that time of year for the goblins and ghouls to come out and help us haunt. This weekend we will have apple bobbing, pumpkin painting/carving, Scariest scream contest, Costume contests, Trick or treating, and of course our famous Haunted Hay ride.

Freaky Fright Nights October 23rd – 25th The second of the two Halloween weekends! Activities include: Same as Little Camp of Horrors.

 

NOVEMBER

Mmmmm…. Turkey Weekend November 27th – 29th Come to Lake & Shore and join us for Thanksgiving.We are having a ham and turkey pot luck dinner, last chance hay ride and Due South Country Band is back.

DECEMBER

Jingle Bells Weekend December 11th–13th Santa will be here this weekend so get your picture taken with him. Also take a ride on the Hay ride and sing so carols to the campers at their sites. Then we will decorate the tree and do a gift exchange, while we read 'Twas the Night before Christmas story.
