Theme Weekends 2008

May 24-26 Circus Time!
Wenatchee Youth Circus’ first performance of 2008 starts right here at Leavenworth Thousand Trails.Thrill to the flying trapeze and laugh with the clowns.  A great time for all - young and old alike. Have your face painted like a clown and join in our bike and stroller decorating contest and parade. Special circus activities for all.

June 14-15 Flag Day!
Celebrate Flag day with a dollar flag from our country store. Make a surprise gift for dad at our craft class.  Is dad up to special Saturday night entertainment?Treat him to Sunday breakfast at our chuck wagon. Be sure to enjoy a banana split at our ice cream social.

June 28 Back to Nature.
Hike our trails with our nature guide and see if you can spot the mule deer on the trails.Make a compass and pine cone bird feeders in our craft class.Play pin the tail on the raccoon. See what treasures you can find in our nature scavenger hunt. Bring your favorite ingredient to add to our member generated Hobo Stew night.

July 4 - 5 Adventure weekend.
Who is our log rolling champion? Who is the watermelon eating King or Queen? Try making coffee can ice cream. Special Bingo weekend - great fun for all ages.We will play games like tug-o-war and sack races.Try out our obstacle course.

July 19 Day at the beach.
Buy a beach ball and decorate it in our special craft class.We will have duck races on the creek. Participate in our Limbo contest and there will be a DJ at the pool for your afternoon enjoyment.We will have water gun and water balloon fights and don’t forget the famous log roll.

August 2- Pirate weekend.
Walk the plank if you dare.Get a map and look for the buried treasure.Take a swing at the piñata.  Make a telescope in our craft class.  Enjoy Root Beer floats at our ice cream social.

August 23 – Our 2nd annual chili cook off and corn bread competition.Learn how to play Mexican train and play in our tournament.
