APRIL

4/18 - 4/20: Moody Beach in Motion: Welcome back everyone! Hope you are as excited as we are to begin another season. Let’s have a social and talk about the things to come. Gather around the fireplace, share a memory.

4/25 - 4/27: Crazy Cartoon Weekend: We all have a favorite cartoon character, well now is your chance to dress-up like them and play some crazy games.  Hope to see all of you and your favorite characters.

MAY

5/2 - 5/4: Green Thumb Weekend: Come put your green thumb to the test and help us plant flowers to make our park even more beautiful. We at Moody Beach take pride in the way we look.

5/9 - 5/11: Flea Market and Craft Sale/Mother's Day:

Join us to show Mom just how much she means to us. There will be a free breakfast for her. Spring clean of sort, go through the closet and attic, one's trash is another one's treasure.

5/16 - 5/18: We Are 'Familee': We are all about family at Moody Beach. This is a weekend for families to play.  Enjoy a friendly game of Family Feud or three legged race, maybe a family game of tug-of-war.

5/23 - 5/26: Honor Our Veterans:Help us honor all the men and women who helped make our country what it is today. May we always be true to the" Red White and Blue". Join us near the Ranger Station for the flag ceremony.

5/30 - 6/1: Sing Like A Star: Everyone should know what it feels like to be a star. Well now you can; just come sing and dance and hear all your fans cheering you on. Everyone is a STAR at Moody Beach.

JUNE

6/6 - 6/8: Festival, Italiano': Come join us for pasta, pasta, and more pasta. Mamma Mia! We furnish the pasta and sauce. You bring a side dish that serves 6-8 people. You like games? You don’t know Bocce’, we’ll teach you.   

6/13 - 6/15: Wild World of Sports / Dad's Day: Let's play ball! Baseball, Football, Softball, Soccer or Volleyball, any shape of ball, either watch or play. Staff verses Guest softball is always a favorite. It's the week end to remember dad on Father's Day.

6/20 - 6/22: Wilderness Camping Weekend: Learn to rough it. Plan to make a campfire properly and safety tips for being around a fire. Learn about animals and their tracks. What are the different kinds of trees? Come and learn.

6/27 - 6/29: Puppy Love Weekend: Come and join in our Pet party, with your best friend. Bring your pet to the parade. You don't have a real dog bring a stuffed one. Reward your pooch's loyalty and love by bringing him to Moody Beach.

JULY

7/4 - 7/6: Red, White, Blue Salute You: Fourth of July fireworks, always light up Moody Beach. Entertainment on 4th and 5th are sure to keep in the theme of celebrating our Nations Birthday. Be sure to pick up a list in the in the Country Store.

7/11 - 7/13: Carnival Weekend:  We're off to the carnival. We'll have games, a moon bounce, face painting, tie dye, and other fun activities. Enjoy hot dogs, popcorn, and slashes! The Saturday night dance will be fun for all ages.

7/18 - 7/20: Splish Splash Pool Bash: Aloha! Looking for a tropical escape? Our tropical party/Lobster Feast is sure to please everyone. Hawaiian style entertainment with grass skirts and leis. PLEASE make Dinner reservations early in season.

7/25 - 7/27: It' A Christmas in July: Santa is in town for the weekend. The jolly ole' fellow is here to shower us with good cheer and hope, as well as candy and gifts. Tell Santa what you want for Christmas and join him on a Hayride. Decorate your site-to-see contest.

AUGUST

8/1 - 8/3: It's Everyone's Happy Birthday: Let's celebrate every member's birthday! We have a special weekend at Moody Beach to celebrate all of them at once. Hats, balloons, cake and Ice cream, what a bash! Join us for lunch, burgers and hot dogs, with all the fixings.

8/8 - 8/10: Beach Bum Fun: Take in some rays and enjoy the long lazy days of summer. We'll host activities for all ages. This is a wet and wild weekend; both at Moody Beach pool and the beach.

8/15 - 8/17: Lobster Extravaganza: Steak and Lobster dinner is always one of our most popular weekends as we celebrate Lobster Month in Maine. Make reservations early, we DO sell out. We don't want you to miss out.

8/22 - 8/24: Arts and Crafts Weekend:  Anything from leather to lace; be creative. Google eyes, pipe cleaner arms and legs, felt for clothes. Share your favorite craft project. It's always special to receive a gift hand made with love.

8/29 - 8/31: Back to School Blues / Labor Day: Leaves start falling and school bells start ringing again. Celebrate a tribute to Moody's fun filled days over the summer. Enjoy getting out one last time and bid farewell to summer.

SEPTEMBER

9/5 - 9/7: Leaf Peeping Weekend: Fall in love with fall. It's that time of the year when leaves start changing color; red, orange, yellow. Come out and enjoy the rainbow of colors. Moody Beach Hosts New England ODW 2008 Regional Challenge. Members plan to be present. Let's represent Moody in a big way, this year.

9/12 - 9/14: Wild Wild West Hoe-Down: Bring your cowboy boots and hats for the wildest weekend this side of the Mississippi. Jump on the Hayride. Learn to Lasso a "steer". Make a horse and take a ride.

9/19 -9/21: Indian Summer Weekend: The days are getting shorter and nights are getting cooler. Fall is in the air, let's enjoy the last warm days of summer.

9/26 - 9/28: Science Fiction Weekend:  Keep your eyes open for UFO's. Be sure to bring binoculars or a telescope for stargazing. You might just spy the USS Enterprise NCC-1701, you never can tell at Moody Beach.

OCTOBER

10/3 - 10/5: Spooks and Goblins: Halloween is never the same without a trip to Moody Beach. Plenty of tricks and treats are planned for the ghouls and boys. Halloween spirit with pumpkin painting, trick-or- treating lots of fun and a little candy.

10/10 - 10/12: October Fest: Shuffle Board, Horseshoes, Bocce' Join us all day for fun and games. Be sure to join us in the evening for a Pot-Luck Dinner, share your favorite dish, to serve 6-8 people.

10/17 - 10/19: Bon Voyage Weekend: What a season of fun festivities. It is time to winterize and pack up those RV's. Farewell pot-luck dinner to be held in the recreation hall. Bring your favorite dish to serve 6-8 people. Cruise on into winter.
