Theme Weekends 2008

May 17: We’ll kick off the 2008 season with a Casino Night extravaganza. Great fun for everyone and great prizes too. The kids will be playing games and winning prizes in the Adult Lodge while the adults play the night away in the family lodge.

May 26: Support our Troops! Help us celebrate our members past and present who have served or are serving our country. We will put together care packages to be sent to local units currently serving abroad so please bring items to be included in the packages. If you have a family member that is or has served please send us a photograph to post on our “Honor Board” through out the summer. We will be doing special craft project this week to include the care packages. We will have a DJ on board this weekend to entertain us on Saturday from 7 – 9 pm with a teen social to follow from 9 to 11 pm.

June 14: Happy Fathers Day! Check out the specials on Paintball and Dinner. We’ll have a dive in theatre down by the pool at 10 pm

June 21: Casino Night Come out and play, meet new people, make new friends, win great prizes. Kids will be playing in the Adult Lodge while the adults play up stairs in the Family Lodge.

June 28: Fire Safety Weekend. Gear up for the summer and learn the do’s and don’ts of fire safety. Firemen will be on hand to talk with the kids and maybe a few surprises as well. Come out and Karaoke with us in the evening followed by a Dive in Theater. (movie to be announced)

July 5: Join us for our annual Independence Day carnival and celebration! Carnival games and prizes for everyone. Sno Cones and Popcorn, good old fashioned fun. A great BBQ rib dinner will be served with all the fixin’s. We will be joined by the fabulous Renegades.

July 19: Casino Night with a Mardi Gras theme. Come in costume and earn an extra $2000 in chips start up. Kids will play down in the Adult Lodge while the adults take over the Family Lodge.

July 26: Aloha! Is the theme for this weekend. Make a lei, paint a lantern, eat a fantastic luau feast, and enjoy the rhythm of the Aloha Dancers. It’s an unforgettable weekend of fun.

August 2: Pirates of the Caribbean: We’ll make boats, go on a treasure hunt, watch all three of the Pirate movies. Have a fantastic pirate time.

August 9: Texas Holdem Tourney. Kids will love the games in the adult lodge. Great fun and great prizes.

August 16: Survivor/Amazing Race Weekend. Bring your family down and compete with fellow campers. The fastest and bravest family will take home the prize. Sabrina the Reptile Gal will be here with her creepy crawlers Saturday night. This is a show that you don’t want to miss.

August 23: Karaoke with Christie. Bring your talent and sing a long.

August 30: Come out and have some good old fashioned fun at our annual Soc Hop. We feature real Cherry and Vanilla Cokes, Sno Cones, a great DJ. Good family fun. Followed by our end of the year teen social. The DJ brings out the kids music, we have snacks, DDR, good time fun.
