April 11-13 Welcome Back Weekend.
Time to say "hello" to all old friends and make some new ones. We will have a Potluck Dinner on Saturday evening.
April 18-20 Cabin Fever Weekend.
Come out for a evening of cards and games on Saturday.
April 25-27 Mardi Gras Weekend.
We will make Mardi Gras masks, play Mardi Gras music and have a Potluck Dinner on Saturday.
May 2-4 Kentucky Derby Weekend.
Make and race a stick horse, watch the Derby- Don't forget to wear your big hats for Race Day. [save the hats for next weekend]
May 9-11 Mad Hatter Weekend.
Lets have a Ladies Tea on Saturday Afternoon, and a Street Dance on Saturday Evening. Everyone attending must wear a hat or one will be provided for a fee.
May 16-18 Appreciate the Farmer Weekend.
We will have some baby animals visit for the weekend, plant some flowers and learn more about other agricultural things.
May 23-25 Remembering the Troops !
Past & Present.
Hey everyone! Its the first big holiday of the camping season. The pool opens, we have a band on Friday Evening and a Potluck on Sunday.
June 6-8 Western Weekend and Chili Cookoff
Be sure to wear your western duds and bring your best chili recipe for the cookoff.
June 13-15 Fathers Day/ Duct Tap
e Fest Weekend.
What do most dads and some moms use to repair things? Duct Tape of course! We find out that it comes in more colors than gray. We will make crafts Duct Tape, but if you want to bring things you have made with Duct Tape we will display them so others can see your handiwork.
June 20-22 Clowning around Weekend.
Lots of fun for everyone. We will have carnival type games, face painting and wagon rides with "Obie" the clown and Moon Bounce.
June 27-29 Pets Weekend.
Many activities for you and your pets this weekend. We will have a contest for Best Dressed, Cutiest, most talented and dog/owner look alike. We will also offer Pet Pictures [$].
July 4-6 Let Freedom Ring Weekend.
On this 4th of July weekend we will have craft, dancing and DJ music on Saturday and we will have a Potluck on Sunday. There is sure to be lots of exciting things happening this holiday.
July 18-20 Glow in the Dark Weekend.
We will have a Glow in the dark volleyball game this year and a black light Dance.
July 25-27 Christmas in July Weekend.
One of our campers favorite weekends. Fiddler Picnic Jam Session on Saturday. We will have a christmas potuck on Sunday evening. The turkey will be provided by PAD, you bring the sides and drink.
August 1-3 Start Your Engines Weekend.
Build & race your own cardboard race car. Bring your Remote Control cars and we will have races.
August 8-10 PA Dutch Olympics Weekend.
This week is the opening of the 2008 Summer Olympics. PA Dutch will have its own olympic style games this weekend.
August 15-17 Sportsmania Weekend.
This is the second week of the Olympics. we will have lots of fun games and activities too.
August 22-24 So You Think You Have Talent?
PA Dutch knows it has many talented campers. We will have a talentcontest on Saturday to prove it.
August 29-31 Labor Day Weekend.
The last holiday of the camping season. The Pool will colse this weekend. We will have a dance Saturday night with Heart and Soul Bluegrass Bandand a Potluck on Sunday.
September 5-7 Grandparents Weekend.
We will celebrate grandparents with a sock hop. Come out and listen to the 50's and 60's music and remember the "good ole days".
September 12-14 Romantic Weekend.
We have a Romantic Dinner every year. Be sure to sign up early as we can only take a limited number.
September 26-28 NFL Weekend.
Make sure you wear a jersey or hat of your favorite team. We will have a flag football game and a contest for the best kicker, best pass and worst pass.
October 3-5 Octoberfest Weekend.
Come out and listen to polka music. If you know how to polka dance join in.
October 10-12 Scrapbook Weekend.
We will work on scrapbook pages this weekend. Bring pictures or just ideas.
October 17-19 Fall Festival Weekend.
This year we will have carnival type games. We will also have wagon rides, pumpkin painting or decorating and Trick or Treating.
October 24-26 Closing Weekend.
Time to say goodbye to friends till spring camping starts. Have a safe and warm winter.
