Feb. 6-8  Flea Market Weekend
Have something to sell?  Bring it to the Rec. Hall – new, old, crafty or chewy.

Feb.  13-15  Chocolate Lovers Weekend
Enjoy our chocolate fountain as we gather in the Rec. Hall for a winter get together.

Feb. 20-22  Presidents’ Day Weekend
Salute to those who led our country throughout its history

Feb. 27 – Mar. 1  Crafters’ Weekend
While the athletic types are on the slopes-let’s make a beautiful spring creation for the home.

March 6-8 Top Chef
Time for the 21st Annual Chili Cook-off in the Poconos at Daniel’s Top O’ the Mountain this year.  After sampling theirs-why not get together at the Members’ Lounge and sample your own recipes.

March 13-15 Derby Day
It’s Cardboard Box Derby Day at Camelback Ski area.  We’ll have our own version here at Scotrun- so, bring your cardboard box racer and join in our competition.

March 20-22  Kick Off Spring
The calendar says spring – no matter if the weather doesn’t.  We’ll have both indoor and outdoor fun for the first weekend of the season.

March 27-29  Bye-Bye Winter
Time to limber up for warmer weather.  Mini Golf and Basketball will be open and we’ll have a tournament of you can just for fun

April 3-5  Deal or No Deal
Let’s have a round of card games-games for all ages.  Prizes for the winners.

April 10-12  Egg-actly a Special Day
We’ll color eggs-have egg races-an egg hunt and of course, some neat rabbit ceramic pieces to paint.

April 17-19  Earth Day-Think Green
This will be the start of our weekly Green contest.  Have an idea to benefit our planet, our country or our home?  Bring it along-there will be a weekly prize for the best idea.  Recycle-preserve-conserve.

April 24-26  Fishing Derby
Saturday the 25th. - 7am to 12noon –rain or shine. Those trout will be waiting for you-sign up when you check in.

May 1–3   Fiesta de Mayo
Celebrate spring and all its promises. Enjoy the Poconos as we welcome the warmth of May.

May 8–10   Momma Mia
Come to the Rec Hall Mom. Sit down; relax with some crafts and ceramics.  Stress busters.

May 15–17   Salute to the Services
A patriotic weekend to remember our armed forces – past and present, thanking for their courage and sacrifice.

May 22–25   Kick Off Summer
Memorial Day Weekend officially starts our summer season.  Outdoor sports, indoor games and crafts and DJ Megahertz Mark for dancing on Saturday and Sunday nights.

May 29–31   Back to Bedrock
Fred and Barney  -  ALERT  -  those pesky dinosaurs are back!!!

June 5–7   Race Weekend
First NASCAR race in the Poconos is June 6.  Exciting activities and events for the week of the race.  We are close to the Raceway.

June 12–14   Bring on the Sun
Mini-golf, basketball, volleyball and shuffleboard competition is set for this sunny day.

June 19–21   Hey Dad!  Summer is Here
Dads, sign up for a mini-fishing derby, 8 ball and mini-golf tournaments.

June 26–28   Share the Fun
Bring some friends up and show them the good time to be had at Outdoor World, Scotrun.  DJ dance party on Saturday night.

July 3–6   Red, White & Blue
Celebrate our Independence Day  -  an all-American holiday.  Decorate your site, bike or vehicle and win a prize.  Dance party on Saturday night in the Rec Hall.

July 10–12   It’s Magic!
Saturday we’ll have a magic show by Brushes, the Clown!  DJ Mark spins his magic at night.

July 17–19   Silly Olympics
Some crazy sports to make you laugh.  Come and try your hand at Olympic Games you’ve never heard of.

 

July 24–26   Wet n’ Wild
Water balloons, shoot outs, lots of wet and wild games.

July 31–August 2  NASCAR in the Poconos
2nd race of the season at Pocono International Raceway.  Come early and enjoy the excitement of race week.

August 7–9   Kids Rule
Brushes, the Clown is back.  All the kids get to participate in the show.  There will also be kid stuff, water balloons, egg toss, Swatta Piñata and more.

August 14–16  Annual Members Directed Picnic
Members get together on Saturday for good food and friendship.  Dance the night away with DJ Mark.

August 21–23  Hooray for Hollywood.
Celebrate our screen favorites, past and present.  Dress as your favorite star at the dance Saturday night – prizes for the best look-a-likes.

August 28–30   Crafters Weekend
Bring your crafts to share or sell.  White elephants and fleas are welcome too.

September 4–7   Keep Summer Alive
Lots of time for all your summer favorites, barbecues, picnics, fishing, sports and more.  Sit around a campfire and remember all the good times.  DJ Mark will keep us moving on Saturday and Sunday nights.

September 11–13   Grandparents Day
Treat the folks to a weekend in the Poconos.  Good food, beautiful scenery and some crafts to cherish.

September 18–20   The Great Outdoors Weekend
Mini-golf, shuffleboard, Bank shot basketball and fishing on a warm, fall weekend - couldn’t be better.

September 25–27   RODEO!
The professional rodeo tour comes to Shawnee.  Live excitement – right up close!

October 2-4    An Apple a Day
Cider sippin’, apple bobbing and an apple pie eating contest.  Its harvest time – Johnny Appleseed would be proud.

October 9–12   Explore! 
Take the lead from Columbus and explore the many facets of the Pocono Mountains.  Check in the Rec Hall for information.

October 16–18   Flyin’ High
The Hot Air Balloon and Timber Festival at Shawnee is not to be missed.  Beauty and excitement in a combined event.

October 23–25   Amazin’ Fall
Visit a challenging Corn Maze and the bountiful fall markets in our local area.  Don’t forget to go pumpkin picking.

October 30 – November 1   Ghosts, Ghouls & Goblins, EEK!
You never know what’s waiting for you along the Haunted Trail.  If you survive, come to the Monster Mash, costume party and dance at the Rec. Hall.  

November 6–8   Billiards Galore
We’ll have round robin 8 ball competition and of course, straight shooter pool for all ages.

November 13–15   Beat the Winter Olympics
Games and competition for everyone.  Get ready for the snowy days ahead.

November 20–22   A Craft for All Ages
Make a nice gift for someone or buy one from our own craftsmen.  Bring your talents to Scotrun.

November 27–29   Sprint to the Holidays
Ready, set, shop – we’ll have some of our crafts and flea market things on display.  You might find just the thing for that certain someone.

December 4–6   Holiday Cookie Exchange
Bring a dozen cookies with a recipe and share with our good cooks.

December 11–13   Take a Deep Breath
The holidays are rushing at us.  Time to relax a bit – check over your list.  Have some warm cocoa and breath easy.

December 18–20   Last Minute Looking
Forget someone – not find the right gift?  The outlet stores or many specialty shops of the Poconos can solve your problem.  Why not have a relaxing dinner at one of the great restaurants to round out a good day.

December 25–28   Just Enjoy the Poconos
Time for you to just take a break and spend some get-away time and discover some new possibilities in our mountains.

December 31 – January 3, 2010 Let’s do it Again
Celebrate with us at our family style New Year’s Eve party.  Fun for all ages.  We supply hats, noisemakers and of course, Megahertz Mark.
