THEME WEEKENDS 2008

May 2-4 Cinco de Mayo
Celebrate with our neighbors south of the border.  Make an Aztec mask, take turns breaking the piñata.  We’ll be having a traditional Mexican feast.

May 9-11 Mother’s Day Weekend
Let’s show Mom how much we appreciate her.  Make Mom a special gift or buy her one at the arts and craft show.  Mom gets free French toast for breakfast at the Sand Dollar Café on Mother’s Day.         
 
May 23-26 Memorial Day Weekend
Patriotic crafts and activities to celebrate Memorial Day.  Barbeque cookouts are back, come karaoke with us on Friday night and enjoy campfire and s’mores Saturday night.

June 13-15 Father’s Day Weekend
Kids will be making great gifts for Dad.  Free French toast for Dad at the Sand Dollar Café on Sunday morning.  Compete in mini-golf and horseshoes.  Seaside is having their Muscle Beach Cruz with hundreds of old cars this weekend, a great reason to bring Dad to the coast.

June 20-22 Games Galore
Dominoes, Bingo, Cribbage, hamburgers and hot dogs.  Dr. A. on sax Saturday night.

June 27-29 Country Western Days
Bring your cowboy hat and partner and join us on the back deck for a stomping good time with the Hired Hands Band.  Come to the café for a western style dinner.

July 4-6 Fire O’er the Water
Fireworks light up the sky in downtown Seaside Friday night.  Don’t forget to decorate your sites with flags and streamers.  Saturday night we will rock the night away with classic rocker Norm Lynn.

July 18-20 Christmas in July
This weekend is dedicated to fundraising for Christmas for Kids.  Bring your thankful hearts and your holiday spirit (even though it’s a little out of season.)  Pop & rock group Pressure Ridge performs.

July 25-27 Wild West
Round up your family and join us for some grub at the Sand Dollar Café.  Then line dance the night away with the Hired Hands Band.

Aug 8-10 Wet n Wild
We’re playing pool games, tossing water balloons, slip-n-slide, squirt guns and fun.  Norm Lynn is back playing classic rock.

Aug 22-24 Windy Weekend
It will be a windy weekend at the beach for the Long Beach International Kite Festival,  largest of it’s kind in North America.  Craft your own kite or buy one at the Sand Dollar Store.  Come enjoy the mellow sounds of Dr. A. on the sax.

Aug 29-Sept 1 Labor Day Weekend
Come to the Oregon coast for your last chance for summer fun.  We’ll be playing old fashioned games, sack races, softball and horseshoes.  Our cooks will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.  You’ll be dancing Saturday night with pop group Pressure Ridge.

Sept 5-7 Wheels and Waves
Make it to the Seaside one more time, downtown is roaring with ocean waves and motors from 500 types of hot rods and custom cars.
